Day 1 Arrival Changsha

Transfer service to hotel

Arrive in Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province, be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Changsha

Hunan Provincial Museum, Yuelu Mountain Scenic Zone

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Changsha

Today after breakfast in the hotel, you will have a Changsha city tour by firstly visiting Hunan Provincial Museum - the largest comprehensive historical and art museum in Hunan Province. And then, you will have chance to visit the highlight scenic spot Yuelu Mountain Scenic Zone including Yuelu Academy and Aiwan Pavilion. After the tour, drive you back to your hotel and have a rest.

Day 3 Changsha - Zhangjiajie

Mt. Shaoshan, Former Residence of Chairman Mao, Drive to Zhangjiajie

Accommodation:In Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan District
 

In the morning, you will have a 1 hour driving to Mt. Shaoshan, to visit the Former Residence of Chairman Mao and his Memorial Hall as well. Then, after another 6 hours long driving, you will reach Zhangjiajie. Drive you to Wulingyuan District for checking your hotel and have a rest of this day.

Day 4 Zhangjiajie

Tianzi Mountain Area, Yuanjiajie Scenic Area, Bailong Elevator

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodation: In Zhangjiajie

Today after breakfast, we will begin our first day trip to Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Today, we may firstly visit Tianzi Mountain Area (2 hours hiking) - boasts rocky peaks in grotesque shapes and shrouded in drifting mist. After that, taking the scenic shuttle bus to the restaurant to enjoy the lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to have another hiking trip to visit Yuanjiajie Scenic Area (2 hours) - one of the must-see attractions in Zhangjiajie. During this day, you will have chance to experience the Bailong Elevator - the highest and heaviest outdoor elevator in the world. After the tour, drive back to your hotel and have a rest of this day.

Day 5 Departure Zhangjiajie

Mt. Tianmenshan, Transfer to airport

Meals: Breakfast

In the morning after breakfast, we will firstly have a half day tour to Tianmen Mountain (4 - 4.5 hours including round cable way) - which is famous for the Tianmen Cave. After the tour, drive you to the airport/train station to get to your next destination.
